Proof for the hobby.
Know what you're buying. A HobbyProof code shows a sale or handoff that went through HobbyBuff, backed by real money or a real handoff, not by what someone typed.

How it works
- 1
A sale or handoff happens on HobbyBuff
A collector pays through a deal, a buyer pays a dealer by QR at a show, or two collectors finish a trade.
- 2
HobbyProof records it
Only what moved through HobbyBuff itself. Nothing anyone types in counts.
- 3
Anyone can check the link
The owner shares a short code. Anyone can open it, with no account, and see the card and what was verified.
What it proves
- The money was paid through HobbyBuff and stayed paid: not refunded, no problem reported.
- The card reached this collection through a HobbyBuff deal, a show sale the buyer claimed, or a trade both sides marked done.
- Whether that still holds today: still owned, sold on, or changed into a different card since.
What it doesn't
- That a card is genuine, or its grade or condition. For a graded card, check the cert with the grading company.
- What each card in a bigger sale was worth. The total is what was paid; each card's share is an estimate.
- Who was on the other side, or what they paid. A check never shows names, emails or prices.

The maker registry
Makers will register their print runs, so supply can be proven. Codes on cards will check against the registry, and scans will flag counterfeits and quiet reprints. Join the waitlist to hear first.
